Scientific Background
KT5823 is a potent, selective, and reversible inhibitor of Protein Kinase G (PKG). It is a derivative of K-252a. KT5823 has been shown to inhibit SNP-stimulated PKG activity in dispersed smooth muscle cells. It has also been observed to dose-dependently inhibit spontaneous apoptosis of neutrophils.
