The physicochemical properties, crystal structures, along with the DC and AC magnetic properties of 1 have been studied. The AC magnetic measurements revealed that the majority of Compounds 1 are field-induced single-molecule magnets, with estimated magnetization power barriers, Ueff 168 K. The experimental study with the magnetic properties was complemented by theoretical analysis depending on ab initio and crystal field calculations. An experimental and theoretical study with the magnetism of 1 shows the subtle impact on the sort and charge state of your axial ligands around the SMM properties of those complexes. Keywords and phrases: field-induced single-molecular magnets; seven-coordinate complexes; Er(III) complexes; ligands H2 DAPMBH and H4 DAPS; crystal structure; DC and AC magnetic propertiesPublisher’s Note: MDPI stays neutral with regard to jurisdictional claims in published maps and institutional affiliations.1. Introduction Currently, it has turn into obvious that magnetic anisotropy is the most important element for the improvement of high-performance single-molecule magnets (SMMs) [1]. An e.
